> Kriz is a curator of the "New Photography on Screen" show which is part of the New Generation Arts Festival in Birmingham (10 - 20 June, Custard Factory, Birmingham, UK). Each photographer have their own array of plasma screens of different sizes, to reveal their latest works as purely digital images in a constellation of their own design. In 2001, Bill Viola mentions in his talk at Tate Modern, London, that he feels very confused while walking through the gallery of Modern Art after the closing hours. There are no paintings, no sculptures, just projectors and screens, the art can be switched off and stored on the silver DVD disc. The walls are empty, nothingness. He has raised a very pertinent question: “What will remain from us for the next generations?”
